Toronto duo Dime Lifters (made up of WHIMM and Deliluh members) have released their haunting new single 'Walls Of Love' through Tin Angel Records. This is the second outing from the duo who formed over lockdown, following the double singles 'Wedding' and 'Clariette'. This track is a departure from the abrasive post punk of their other bands but retains some of the darkness and atmosphere, existing in the same melancholic world of artists like Cindy Lee (with whom Kyle Knapp of Deliluh has previously worked with). 'Walls Of Love' is an understated folk song that has an uncanny ageless quality, a song that sounds like it has always existed or somehow soundtracks a distant memory with its gently strummed guitars and sparing piano, as well as featuring guest vocals from Bria Salmena, it is perfectly balanced in its beauty and sadness.
